I have moved into a rental apartment, and the heating system is located in the attic. There, I can only adjust the temperature.

I know that some heating systems can be programmed according to the time of day, allowing for significant energy savings. I would like to know if this is possible with my system as well.
Do you know how I can find this out?

Just ask your landlord, I think they are the best person to tell you. Otherwise, you’ll have to search your entire apartment, and if you find something, then it’s allowed; if not, then it’s not.

My landlord is not a very nice person; he always complains and tries to make everyone look foolish, so this will be my last resort.
Well, it is also a duplex, and the water connection for both units is controlled on my side, so I thought the heating controls might be on the other side.

Oh, that’s certainly possible. But you could ask your neighbors if they have already made those adjustments. If they have lived there for a while, they can probably tell you.

I would say the same. After all, it’s your money and it involves you. So quickly call the landlord and ask. Honestly, what could they do to you? Nothing will happen :-D 😀

Yes, you are right.

I think I just need to get a backbone now and that’s it, then at least I’ll finally know for sure.
