a friend has rewired the electrical cables in my older house.
What is the usual next step?
Logically, it makes sense to connect the cables to the breaker panel and test if everything is working BEFORE the wall channels are closed and the wall is plastered.
The electrician says to close up the walls first, and then he will make the final cable connections.
Is this really the "normal" procedure?
If something doesn’t work properly afterwards, you would have to reopen everything...
Good luck
