A brief background: For our wedding, we received wood from my wife’s grandfather, carefully selected from his own forest. It is seasoned, treated, and now cut to size, but we won’t be building anytime soon and would like to sell it.
To give a rough overview: Spruce wood
600 battens (treated) 40x60 mm (1.6x2.4 inches), 400 cm (13 feet) long
200 counter battens (treated) 25x50 mm (1x2 inches), at least 120 cm (4 feet) long
20 beams 100x100 mm (4x4 inches), 400 cm (13 feet) long
Cut-off battens/boards with edge pieces, 25 mm (1 inch) thick, 240 to 400 cm (8 to 13 feet) long, 15-40 cm (6 to 16 inches) wide
Formwork boards 32 mm (1.25 inches) thick, 240 to 400 cm (8 to 13 feet) long, also 15-40 cm (6 to 16 inches) wide. There are about 70 boards in total.
We were told this amount would supposedly be enough for a building footprint of about 600 m² (6,458 sq ft), which is much more than we need 😉
We would appreciate any advice on where to list this and what might be a reasonable price.
Thanks for your help! We’re really at a loss, and we want to sell the wood because storing it also costs money.
Best regards,
Kai

Just ask nearby carpenters? Maybe they need wood or could buy it from you. And if not, you can at least try to find out the prices that way. For example, at what price they buy/sell battens. That way you already have a reference point.
