Hello everyone,

We are currently looking for a stair covering for our concrete staircase.
Since we have an open living room, kitchen, hallway, and dining area, we would like everything to match (or at least be as harmonious as possible), which is not easy.
Ideally, we want the steps to have the look of the kitchen countertop (dark ebony).

However, since we had a bad experience with a wooden staircase in our first house, even though we only lived there for two years, we do not want real wood.
It should also look like a single piece, which rules out most tiles.
Patio slabs usually have an unattractive edge, or are there methods to improve their appearance?
Do you have any other suggestions or ideas?

The slabs should overhang by 2–3 cm (about 1 inch), and I would very much like to have an LED profile milled in.

I would be very grateful for your help.

Best regards,
Judyyy
