Uli&nixHi Ikea experts,
we have a problem assembling our Metod wall cabinets.
They are designed as horizontal double cabinets and were ordered from the kitchen team accordingly (cabinet dimensions: 80x37x80 cm (31.5x15x31.5 inches), door dimensions: 80 cm (31.5 inches) wide, 40 cm (16 inches) high – and are mounted one above the other).
The problem: the Utrusta hinges are meant for horizontal doors. The instruction manual shows that the cabinet already has the three holes pre-drilled for fixing. However, ours do not!? Nowhere does it say that the customer has to drill these holes themselves...? What now – did we get the wrong cabinet, or do we need to drill? If so – is there a drilling guide or template available?
Please help!
