We have the Ektorp sofa with the chaise lounge. Unfortunately, after just one year, the back cushions have already lost a lot of their shape. They can’t be fluffed up anymore, especially the two side cushions. We do spend a lot of time lying on it, so that’s probably part of the reason. According to Ikea, replacement cushions are not available for purchase. However, there are online shops that cut cushions to order and then deliver them. That would be perfect since you could, for example, choose cold foam.
But now to my problem: I’m having trouble with the measurements of the covers. I’ve tried measuring, but I’m not very precise. And the cushions need to fit perfectly inside the covers. Has anyone here a) experienced the same problem and what did you do? And b) maybe someone already figured out the exact measurements of the covers. I would really appreciate it if someone could share those with me.
Thanks so much in advance, and I wish everyone a nice Sunday 🙂
