SaWiHello everyone,
we installed the Tidig pendant light, but since it’s an older model, the assembly instructions are unfortunately missing. Now I have a tangled mess of cables on the suspension rods, and it can’t be meant to look like this. In the catalog, the cords are shown tight, but I can’t get them that taut with just the few installed rubber rings.
Is it possible that the cords need to be shortened before installation? Is that something a non-professional can do at all? I’m cautious with electricity and can’t imagine that’s the intended method. But how do I get the cords straight? Right now, they’re just dangling around.

Did you notice that you can download the installation manual from the page you linked to? 😉

lol... no, of course not! I just clicked on service, and it only shows something about Ikea service! Sorry about that, it’s the whole moving madness! It really messes with your head! 😉
Thanks for the reply!
I still don’t quite understand the shortening, but I’ll just ask someone who’s not as out of it as I am right now 😀
Have a nice evening!
