Hello everyone.
According to the builder, our floor-to-ceiling windows have been properly sealed from the INSIDE.
The exterior sealing is supposedly our responsibility...
How would you go about doing this?
There will be a fully covered terrace in front of all the windows... but I still think everything should be sealed correctly.
Or am I worrying unnecessarily?

I hope it’s okay with the original poster if I use your thread as well.
I was at the construction site after work today. The window installer started today. I haven’t spoken with him yet, but I believe from his side the exterior work is done. He pointed out the base sealing to me beforehand.
Next up would be the roofer.
What needs to be considered here? Do a few bricks need to be removed? I saw some recessed areas like that on a few. How should this be handled?
Thanks everyone!!

A bucket of sealing compound costs 50€, the work is a joke. How can it cost 2500€? Good materials are expensive; you can forget about 50 euros. The problem is that there are three trips, and quite a bit of labor costs add up. But yes, I agree with you, 2500 is a lot, it’s just that all the quotes were like that.
Make the gutter better.
Regarding waterproofing: the PDF about the forgotten connection actually explains it very well. There are several products available based on bitumen or cement. If you want to base it purely on financial reasons, I recommend having it properly waterproofed at your own expense.
