ᐅ Sealing Floor-Level Windows

Hello everyone,

I’m about to start the exterior landscaping soon, and I noticed that the floor-level windows on the outside are not sealed properly, as shown in the picture.

What is the best way to seal them?

Was the base sealed before the windows were installed?

They didn’t participate in the window area, but I don’t know why.

Yes, that’s how it looks ;-). How can you properly seal it if the windows are not yet installed when the sealing is done? Why doesn’t the person responsible for sealing raise any concerns? What was the site manager doing during that time? Who approved the work? Head --> wall... This confirms my humble experience that most problems simply result from poor scheduling and coordination between trades.

You are mistaken – sealing is done beforehand and then again at the joints after the window installation.
