Hello,
I have installed one KG pipe each as conduit sleeves for the telephone cable and power cable through the base slab in the utility room. How and where should the cables passing through be sealed afterward? With a rubber sealing sleeve (Doyma) or similar? Should the sealing be applied inside the utility room and/or outside in the soil? Do you seal both ends of the pipe, or leave the side facing the soil open to allow condensation or similar moisture to drain? Currently, there is some water inside the pipes, which is why I am asking. I want to pull the telephone cable through myself, but of course, I don’t want any connection to the outside that might attract odors or small animals.
Thanks,
dennnny
