Sonnenblu24 Jul 2015 08:28Hello everyone,
we are planning to build a garden shed. So far, the concrete slab is completed, as well as the concrete wall on which the wooden frame will be placed. Now, we would like to do the waterproofing ourselves.
Could someone please explain exactly what needs to be done? I have heard about a fillet (cove) and bitumen layer, as well as a drain pipe. However, we are not sure about the correct order of the steps before backfilling with soil again.
Could someone possibly explain, based on the sketch (which is meant to show the slab and wall), what should be done here?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Sonnenblu

The concrete wall on which the wooden frame will be placed. .. that must be quite a structure ... Sonnenblu schrieb:
Now we would like to do the waterproofing and so on ourselves. .. against what, why, and where exactly is the issue? Do you not have a construction manager?
