Hello everyone,

In a few days, we have a blower door test scheduled. We installed a decentralized ventilation system, which means there are several wall penetrations.

These need to be sealed for the test. Do you have any tips on the best way to do this? Taping? Inserting something? What do you think?

I’ve attached an example image:

Make sure there are no sharp edges, inflate a sturdy balloon inside the hole, and seal it.

Absolutely airtight and removable without residue.

You don’t have to do that; the tester will take care of it. At least, that’s how it was done with the chimney openings in our case.
