ᐅ Sealing an underground borehole

Hello everyone,
since the electrician unfortunately forgot to install the requested conduit for the photovoltaic system during construction (and I only noticed it too late), the cables had to be routed from the outside. A hole was drilled in the basement wall to the outside for this purpose. Once backfilled, this will be about 70 cm (28 inches) below ground level. The drilling went through the masonry, the bitumen waterproofing membrane, and the perimeter insulation. For sealing, black silicone was simply applied around the protective pipe and the perimeter insulation. To me, this doesn’t seem sufficient. What is the usual procedure in such cases? I was thinking about applying waterproof slurry around the area. Or are there other options?
Thanks and best regards

I have also pointed out several times that this topic is important and that the house entry must be done according to current state-of-the-art technology. Just putting some silicone around it seems to me to be the wrong solution....

1. This is not silicone.
2. The problem is the hole in the basement wall, not the insulation. Therefore, applying waterproof slurry on the insulation does not help.
3. Now the hole in the basement wall is made. A hole remains a hole.
4. Just call your basement contractor and ask what they think about it.

Just to avoid any misunderstandings. This is a standard masonry basement, closed on three sides and open on one side. If I need to ask the mason, I’ll have to get the number from the general contractor first.

Would it be an option to cut the insulation boards all around and then coat the masonry around the pipe with sealing slurry? Or is only a suitable building component the proper solution? I have looked at the proposed solutions. The photovoltaic technician will probably consider this too much effort. Is there a guideline on how something like this should be executed?
