Hello everyone,
we are building a regular rectangular single-family house. However, on the ground floor there will be a sort of cube projecting out.
This results in a flat roof of 75 cm (approximately 10 sq m / 108 sq ft) on two sides.
Is it possible to waterproof this yourself using liquid waterproofing? It sounds quite simple.
Has anyone had experience with this?
Or are there better alternatives?
Thanks for your answers.

Our flat roofs are sealed with EPDM membrane.

When it comes to roof waterproofing, especially for flat roofs, I definitely wouldn’t cut corners or experiment...

Actually, you can’t install any of this yourself. It’s classified as a hazardous material and, as an end consumer, it’s not available to you as far as I know. We had it professionally sealed. It’s very reliable, but it didn’t look simple at all. The work has to be done quickly, everything needs to be properly and smoothly applied, and it smells bad and gets extremely hot!
