Hello everyone,
This is about the Vindig extractor hood.
We are stuck on one assembly step.
It is step 23 on page 30 of the installation manual.
See the photo and the excerpt from the manual below.
According to the instructions, screw E is supposed to be screwed into the second opening (counting from the wall) of part B.
However, this opening does not align with the opening of part A, as you can see in the photo.
When both parts are pushed against the wall, the second opening in part B is much further from the wall than the opening in part A.
Both parts are mounted flush to the wall, and because the openings are at different distances from the wall, they do not line up.
The manual shows that this screw is supposed to hold the two parts together.
Otherwise, screw E will not catch in the opening of part B and will fall out if it is not firmly screwed into the opening of part A.
