Hello,
I am currently building a KFW 55 house, with an insulated roof and an attic (concrete ceiling) below it, and living space beneath that. I would like to plan for a screed floor here.
My question is whether the screed between the attic and the living space is sufficient as insulation, or if I should add insulation material. How much heat would be lost here?

Best regards Is this a wooden beam ceiling to the attic? Probably yes. Do you plan to do this yourself, or have you asked your general contractor if the ceiling can support the screed structurally?

It’s a mixed-use floor, with an office upstairs and the rest as attic space.
So I believe the ceiling is sufficiently load-bearing.
But I will definitely check on that again.
