Hello dear experts,

I have a technical question that I would like to discuss with people who have practical experience.

Our shell construction with exterior walls made of Schlagmann Poroton T7 42.5 will be coated outdoors in spring with a three-layer mesh render system.

The upper floor is planned to be paneled with a wooden cladding.

As far as I know, the T7 only achieves its insulation value with 1.5cm (0.6 inches) of plaster on both the interior and exterior sides.

How should the upper floor with the wooden cladding be treated?

1. Not plastered at all?
2. Upper floor plastered with a single layer only? If yes, what is the minimum layer thickness?
3. Upper floor plastered with the same three-layer system as the rest?

I look forward to your recommendations.
