Hello everyone,

I’m from the beautiful Thuringia region, and we heat our apartment with oil. Recently, they handed out flyers from OilFox (.io) in our pedestrian zone. They also have a YouTube video—just search for OilFox.
It is a device that attaches to your oil tank and measures the oil level. When the tank is empty and the oil price is low, you can order more oil through the app. According to their website, this can save you up to 700 euros.

My question: is there anything similar already available? I haven’t found any comparable products online so far, although this one seems quite developed.

Best regards,

I still remember the analogue version of OilFox – a person goes to the oil tank, measures the oil level, calls the suppliers they know, and then saves up to €700.

Just now, I found an OilFox online that can work magic. It changes surface tension, combustion, and so on – too bad I have a heat pump. There must be a WPFox for that – it lets the brine and electricity flow more freely.

I would order oil now. It’s as cheap as it hasn’t been in 10 years. Just monitor the market yourself and regularly check the tank level.

To make the situation perfectly chaotic, I would still wait unless the tank is completely empty.
The prices are still going down.

What is a Fuzo?

I don’t like the ads saying “Tank empty” or “Prices low” because if the tank is empty, it’s already too late.
