We don’t want clear glass for the small guest toilet window or the stairwell window that is over 3m (10 feet) long. The neighbors are very close.
What would be more advisable in this case and why?
Frosted glass or satin-finished glass? Which looks more high-quality?
And can you get a window over 3m (10 feet) long as a single piece, or is it usually divided into two sections?

Do I need a shutter application if I divide it into three parts with a sash that can be opened?I don’t think so – the rough opening remains the same. Of course, the opening sash must comply with all fall height requirements.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

I would just go with frosted glass and be done with it. Films are a cheap solution. But we all know from smartphones: they peel off, have air bubbles, look unattractive, and if you're picky, they cause a lot of trouble. That’s nonsense: no one hammers on the window for hours every day.P

Can you not get a frosted window for that price (additional cost)?
The film will come off eventually, right? No, we had these for many years without any problems at all.

And films are kind of the cheap solution.Have you ever looked into good adhesive films? They aren’t much cheaper than frosted glass but are much more flexible. Since they are applied with just a little water, they can be reused multiple times or adjustments can be made if they are applied crookedly or if there’s a bubble inside.B
