Hello fellow home builders,
We are currently planning our single-family house and are waiting for the general contractor’s quote.
Right now, I’m focusing on the satellite dish and would like to get your recommendations or advice.
Google shows different satellite dishes at times, so it’s a bit confusing.
So far, I have mainly noticed the TecniSat SATMAN 850 Plus and the DUR line 4-person dishes.
Which dish would you recommend?
What other hardware is needed besides the dish?
Thanks in advance,
Antonio

Hey, I was facing the same choice, only with the smaller 650 model from Satman. In the end, I went with the DUR line for 4 outputs, and it works perfectly. I had never dealt with satellite TV before. I was impressed with the reception. No outages or anything, no snow or other image issues. Absolutely top quality. I think the good reviews for this system are well deserved.

No outages or anything else, no snow or any other poor image quality. With proper installation, this is the standard and not unusual. Snow is a thing of the past in the digital age. Either you have a perfect picture, or you experience pixelation and dropouts.

What type of LNB and multiswitch would be needed for 8 users? There are coaxial cable outlets in 6 rooms. One additional room will be added if necessary. Additionally, one connection should be made to a SatOverIP receiver in the utility room.

Snow is already a thing of the past in the digital age. In the digital age, the dish no longer gets covered in snow? Interesting. I'll think about why...
