Hello,
I am currently building a new house and wanted to ask whether I should go with the standard star wiring or the Unicable system. There are a total of 8 outlets, but only up to 4 will be used at the same time. Only one satellite is to be received.

Due to the limited space available on the roof, only this type of model can be used.

An even better option would be one with the pole at the narrow end. However, I have only ever found those with a single panel.
That way, even with the evening sun from the west, the dish would never cast a shadow, as it could be placed right at the edge.

And I have had several programs that were later not available in the media library (but this could also be due to the confusing channel structure of the ARD and the poor search function in the TV app)The rights are still sometimes only valid for live broadcasting.

I’d like to throw this idea out there. What do you think about it?

I’d like to bring this up. What do you think about it? If your home network can handle it, it’s a good solution. However, the satellite antenna signal still needs to enter the house at some point; after that, it’s simply distributed via LAN.
