ᐅ Sanding and resealing hardwood flooring

The question might be silly, but I have no experience with this, and unfortunately neither does my husband. We have old parquet flooring in two rooms, and now I would like to sand and reseal it. Is this something you can do yourself, or does it require a professional?

There are no silly questions. Usually, you can do this yourself; it depends somewhat on your DIY skills, but it is possible. You can rent sanding machines for a day, and after sanding, the dust should be thoroughly removed before applying the sealant.
