Hello,
I have been using a Vallox 250 d ventilation system in my single-family home for 12 years.
By now, I no longer focus on planning or further development, nor on comparing competing devices, but I believe there are some practical experiences worth sharing.
This model is very difficult to clean without fully dismantling it. The dirty areas are hard to reach. In addition, there is a risk of injuring your hands on sharp metal edges and points when taking it apart. In my opinion, this is a design flaw.
The housing and internal components are so poorly coated that significant rust has developed over time.
Before purchasing a system, you should be fully aware of the ongoing costs associated with very expensive filter replacements.
I cannot recommend this product and feel that the manufacturer has taken advantage of me for a lot of money. No, let me put it differently—been really fooled.
Best regards
Bodolf

This model is almost impossible to clean without completely taking it apart. You can’t reach the dirty areas.Like most other units, generally.

There is also the risk of injuring your hands on sharp metal edges and points when trying to remove it. In my opinion, this is a design flaw. This is also quite common with such devices and not necessarily a defect. They are not intended to be cleaned by the user but by a professional company every 5 to 10 years.

The housing and interior are so poorly coated that a lot of rust has formed by now. It’s like with cars; some start rusting heavily after three years... others still have no rust after 10 years.

Before buying a system, you should be aware of follow-up costs due to very expensive filter replacements.Even with Vallox, you can take filters from rolls. The filter package costing about 180 euros is simply overpriced and offers no advantage compared to the same filter material from the roll. The suitable inserts for roll filters are available online.
This is not to say I think the system is great or anything, but your comments sound very emotional and you are clearly just frustrated with the system. But it’s not as bad as it seems.
