ᐅ Room Thermostats / Actuators for Underfloor Heating

Hello everyone,

The usefulness of individual room control for underfloor heating in new buildings has been discussed many times. I have now come to the conclusion that I will forgo it. If you decide to take this approach, as I have, one might think that for cost reasons (around 2000 euros in our case) the room thermostats and actuators could simply be omitted if they are not going to be used anyway. Is there any reason against this? Does the building authority perhaps take a closer look and check whether everything is installed correctly?
As a side note: We are receiving a subsidy for our heat pump. Is there anyone here who might be more familiar with this topic?

I will probably at least run a cable from the potential installation location of the room thermostats to the location of the actuators, so that I could retrofit them if needed.

Got it.
What exactly do you want to leave out? Just the actuators and the thermostats?

As I said, it simply seems illogical to me that they are mandatory but the subsidy does not require them. However, it is possible.

Economic efficiency does not matter in our case since we will not have conventional thermostats. We will implement the EER using KNX. The components for that would be available anyway.
Edit: strictly speaking, the EER is mandatory, not the thermostats.

Is there actually a market for used ones?
In theory, some people might consider buying ERR and actuators second-hand at a lower price and then sell them again after a year when the subsidy period is over (virtually unused, since they were disconnected).
It could be an idea to set up a swap circle for this...

Exactly. I calculated it and it comes to about 2000 euros in savings.

Well, they hardly cost anything new and are usually included when building a house. So, a market only exists among self-builders.
