Hello everyone!
I have an acrylic glass patio roof with an aluminum wall connection profile. The previous owner sealed it improperly against the stone wall using expanding foam, which the sun has broken down over the years, causing leaks. I’m now considering how to do this better.
Concrete the wall with formwork to get a straight connection? -> you’ll never get it off again
Seal it with bitumen? -> the offsets of up to 3cm (1.2 inches) are quite large for that
A tin profile or similar that I can easily nail on and then glue with bitumen adhesive? -> messy and makeshift, but maybe the only option?
Thanks for your tips!
Andreas
