Hello everyone!

We are getting a cooperative apartment under a rent-to-own model, which is still being built. This means we can have some say in certain things. Although the underground parking garage hasn’t even been poured yet, we have already received a letter from the company supplying the roller shutters. We now have the option to buy insect screens built into the roller shutters. Now my question to you:

Do you have something like this?
Is it practical?
Are they effective at sealing out insects?
Any experiences?

I have already searched online and they look quite practical and attractive. We definitely need insect screens anyway, as there are unfortunately a lot of mosquitoes where we live. But we don’t want to buy something that doesn’t work.

Best regards, Clovi

Nana, don't confuse Bavaria with Austria... Here, that’s called amazement. 😀

I would possibly also base it on the price.
We ourselves want to have some installed directly into the roller shutter box in the area of the bedrooms/children’s rooms as well. About 100€ with standard double casement windows (rough estimate from the building planner).
