I have a masonry garage made of Poroton blocks. Both sides are still unplastered.
I want to install a rhombus cladding on the outside of the garage. My idea is the following (from inside to outside):
Interior plaster, lime-cement
Brickwork (with occasional concrete columns)
Black building membrane (does anyone have material recommendations?)
Battens
Rhombus boards
Is there anything wrong with this approach? Any suggestions for improvement?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Looks good as is. You might want to apply a silicate paint over the interior plaster.
Have fun. It’s a huge job if you want it to be done properly.
Prime the trim beforehand if desired and calculate and purchase (or order) the screws. You will need more than you initially expect.

I understand that there is a lot of work involved, but the appearance should be the reward.
Due to the time commitment, I will only do this after moving in. It’s just the garage, so there’s no rush.
