do you have an access panel in the base of your tiled bathtub?
My husband and I are discussing whether it is necessary or useful.
I find the panel very unattractive, especially since the bathtub is tiled with a particularly beautiful wood-look tile.
Best regards

No, the construction company doesn’t do that. Both the tiler and the plumber agreed that this is an old practice from the past. Nowadays, they cut open the grout to remove a single tile. That was their unanimous statement. It’s the same for us—unfortunately. Our bathtub got clogged once, and we were able to clear it from above using a lot of chemicals. With an access chamber (inspection chamber), we could have solved it more effectively.Similar topics
