Hello everyone,

Our new build is slowly entering the critical phase—literally—since the screed will soon be heated, and we have started looking for suitable floor coverings. For the living areas, we have decided on click vinyl flooring on HDF (high-density fiberboard) underlayment, which we plan to install ourselves.

The toughest question now is which product to choose, especially since we don’t want it to be too expensive.

In our search, we came across the specialist retailer Reud Bodenarena in Kerpen, which, besides various brand-name products like the classic Parador, also offers own-brand products. We find these own brands from Reud Bodenarena very interesting because, at a very reasonable price, you can get, for example:

Click vinyl on HDF, 8.5mm (0.33 inches) total thickness; usage class 41/AC5 with a 0.4mm (0.016 inches) wear layer.

Has anyone had experience with this click vinyl product from Reud Bodenarena and can share their impressions? Is its quality comparable to, for example, Parador Classic 2030 or similar? Who knows of comparable products like those offered by Reud Bodenarena?

Thank you in advance for any feedback about Reud Bodenarena.

Best regards,
Nuriel

Hello,

I just saw your post and signed up on the forum right away.
We are currently in the same situation you were in back in September.

Have you since gained any experience with the products from Reud Bodenarena yourself?

Best regards,
Thomas.

Hello Thomas,

ask me again in 2 weeks, then the floor installer from Reud Bodenarena will have laid the material – and then once more in a few years.

In the meantime, I decided on the Solidlock brand full vinyl flooring for the underfloor heating and hired their floor installer. Their own full vinyl brand was even better on paper, but my better half preferred the look of the other one.

Unfortunately, I can’t say more at the moment.

Konstantin

Hello Konstantin,

Thanks for the quick reply!

We were planning to visit the Reud Bodenarena in the next few days.

I’m curious about the offers available there and how much they charge for installation, or can you give me an idea?

Best regards,
Thomas

You can also find offers on the Reud Bodenarena website, and if the quality turns out to be good, their in-house brand definitely offers excellent value for money. But there are also a few other brands. However, I can’t say anything about that yet.

The installation price from Reud Bodenarena is definitely fair, assuming the quality of the work is good. I will see about that.

Regards

Konstantin
