Hi, originally I planned to prime the interior walls using a roller. Now my neighbor has offered to lend me his spray device to prime all the walls. He said it is essential to wear a respiratory mask. I couldn't find clear information online about which protection class I exactly need. I read about everything from FFP3 to A2/P3 filter masks. The primer is solvent-free, if that helps. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hello,

buy an FFP-2 mask with an exhalation valve (should be available at hardware stores). This provides sufficient protection, and the valve makes breathing a bit more comfortable.

In occupational health and safety, there are recommended wearing times for respiratory masks. For a filtering half mask with an exhalation valve, it is allowed to wear it 3 times for 120 minutes (2 hours) each day, with a 30-minute break between sessions. You can apply the same practice in private to avoid unnecessary strain on your body.

Good luck!

An airless device no longer produces as much mist.
Only near the ceiling is it unpleasant. Glasses help but quickly become foggy. FFP2 or FFP3 masks are completely sufficient.
I have sometimes worked without a mask (but with a lance).
