Hello everyone, I noticed that the original hinges on two of the five doors of my Ikea Billy bookshelf have worn out quite a bit. The doors no longer close properly and hang slightly crooked. Now I’m considering replacing the hinges entirely. My question to you: What alternatives to the original BILLY hinges are available that are at least equal in quality or better? It would be great if you could share tips on durable, easy-to-install replacement hinges and maybe also some advice on compatibility with the BILLY shelf. Thanks in advance!

Häfele hinges are a solid alternativeThanks, I’ll take a look at that. Are there any special installation tips or compatibility issues with BILLY? Or can I simply swap them if the drilling measurements match?D
