A significant amount of water has collected beneath the insulation in the vapor barrier. The glass wool above feels really wet. Now I’m worried that mold might develop. Can glass wool mold, and will everything dry out on its own?

teikess-113 Sep 2012 07:58I recently read that glass wool insulation almost completely loses its insulating effect when wet. Perhaps an expert can confirm this...
Would it help to peel back the vapor barrier to let the material dry?
