Hello everyone,
In our recently purchased older building, the wall is damaged as shown in the pictures:
My question is: What is the best way to repair this long-term? From the outside, everything seems fine, no moisture or anything similar, no cracks in the exterior facade. Apparently, there used to be a built-in cupboard attached to this wall. It came off along with plaster and debris – from the previous owner.
My idea was possibly to fill it with concrete, smooth it out, and then install a drywall panel (the entire room will be newly paneled) in front of it?
In one of the extensions, we also have a crack visible from the inside (there is no exterior wall, as a garage adjoins on the other side). Would a filler profile/deep filler/PU foam and then replastering be appropriate?
It’s just a storage room – aesthetics don’t need to be perfect here.
Thanks in advance for any tips and advice.
