Hello everyone,

I am about to install the vapor and radon barrier in my basement (Katja Sprint or AluJet Speed sealing membrane—I’m still undecided, but that doesn’t matter for now).

As far as I can tell, my concrete slab turned out fairly smooth and even; however, there are a few small holes, some uneven spots here and there, and also a few less neat areas along the joints with the (concrete) walls. It might actually be possible to lay the membrane directly, but since it’s a vapor barrier, I want to get it as close to perfect as possible.

What would be the best material to fill the holes and uneven spots mentioned above and to create a small cove at the wall joints? I obviously want to use something that won’t negatively affect the subsequent floor construction (insulation, underfloor heating, screed, parquet or tiles) in any way.

Thanks!
