Andik81We would like to renovate our basement area of approximately 35 m2 (375 sq ft) to accommodate a washing machine and dryer, as well as for storing moving boxes with their contents. Attached are two photos showing the current condition of the basement floor and the basement walls with mold. Currently, there is no ventilation or similar system installed.
What cost-effective renovation measures would you recommend for the basement floor and the mold-affected walls, so that the washing machine and dryer can be used and moving boxes can be stored? Should the floor be ground/sanded? What other measures are necessary for the floor? I assume that some form of ventilation will definitely need to be installed. Thank you very much!
