Hello, we have a Swedish prefabricated panel house from 1970.

Who has experience with a prefab house from this company? Our specific question:

We want to redo the walls—how did you handle the wooden panels?

Best regards

Enter the house name in the search box at the top right, and you will find some information about it in this forum.

That’s right. Although some participants are not very active otherwise, they usually respond quite quickly in this thread:

Otherwise, I’d say: just ask your questions. Maybe start with the most important ones for you.

Interesting that this house type appears so frequently.

We are facing a similar project, but it will definitely take the first quarter to thoroughly evaluate concrete offers and consult professionals to determine the most sensible approach. Personally, I haven’t found anything positive regarding odor remediation; the house has a strong smell.

I would be interested to know if you have similar problems. What is your wall construction? HarvSpec’s thread on this topic is quite detailed.
