in our prefab house, we have interior roller shutter boxes. I don’t find them very attractive, so as part of the renovation, we will completely remove the shutters in two rooms. However, this is not possible in some rooms, so I would like to replace these boxes. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find anything. Are there no “standard” boxes available, like a kind of casing that can be installed inside in front of the roller shutter? Are these all custom-made, for example by a carpenter? I’ve attached a photo. Does anyone have experience with this and know roughly how much it costs to have such a box replaced? Thanks.
