Hello.
We bought an old house and have been renovating it since last year.
Due to COVID-19, our income has unfortunately been significantly lower than usual, and the costs for the new roof structure and roof have also increased sharply (wood prices, etc.).
Originally, a plumbing professional was supposed to install new wastewater pipes for us. However, this is no longer possible for financial reasons. We are not looking for sympathy.
I would just like to plan and install the wastewater pipes myself.
I would be very grateful for any help.
If you are not supportive of doing it yourself, please simply ignore this topic. Thank you.
I have already read a lot:
- no 90-degree bends
- 1% slope (less is more)
- branches without ventilation max 4m (13 feet)
- after connecting KG pipes, pull them 1cm (0.4 inches) back out (expansion)
- 87-degree branch (vertical)
- 45-degree branch (horizontal)
- ...
A few notes about my plan:
- it was drawn by hand only
- I tried to get out of the house as quickly as possible
- for example, I routed hand washbasins directly to the outside to minimize damage to the floor. For many rooms, I wouldn’t need to redo the floor (for example, if the kitchen will be installed there)
- for the main sewer pipe, I used DN 125 (blue), which was also the case before
- the vents are to be installed using noise-insulated pipes
- the vent pipes end in an unfinished attic (which is not accessible anyway, as the ceiling height is max. 2m (6.5 feet))
- the pipes should be 2m (6.5 feet) or 3m (9.8 feet) away from the house wall, so that if I ever need to access them, I won’t have to break the pavement
- I would combine the vent pipes in the attic and then route them through the roof
If any information is missing, I will be happy to provide it.
