Hello everyone,

I unfortunately need to repaint some areas inside the house. Since the floors (vinyl adhesive flooring) were already installed, the floor has some wall paint (emulsion paint) on it. How can I best remove these paint spots?

Thanks in advance

Good evening @oggear51,
Remove roughly with a scraper (nothing sharp) and wash off the residue with warm water and a brush.

Something like this for the ceramic cooktop?

No, that would be too sharp... best to use something made of plastic, like a Japanese putty knife for example.

...Or the dough scraper from the kitchen.

Your tips have helped me a lot; it's a bit difficult but manageable. Thanks for that.

Now for a different question: how do you clean a vinyl floor in the future? Mine is seamless and glued down. I was thinking about using something like a steam cleaner—would that work?
