Hello,
in the corners of my window reveals, mold sometimes appears in certain spots, for example where the hinges are. It’s nothing major, you can wipe it off and then it stays away for a while, but it’s still unpleasant.
The walls are covered with textured wallpaper (woodchip).
One possible approach would be to remove the woodchip wallpaper inside the window reveals and instead use lime-based paint, lime stucco, or lime filler. Preferably without having to renovate the entire house because of it...
The problem is, what is the best way to proceed, especially at the transition? Should I try to cut it straight off? I’m afraid that would leave an unattractive edge. Is there a trick for this?
Best regards,
Robert
