Hello experts, in our former oil tank basement room, there is a wall (1m high) behind which the oil tanks used to be located. To make use of the space behind it, we would like to remove the entire wall or just a part of it (from the left wall to the middle, about 1m wide). Attached is a picture of the wall. Questions: Can a bricklayer (or someone else) easily do this? Is it possible to remove only part of the wall, or would the rest collapse? What might such work cost (including material disposal)? Do you have any tips on this? Thanks and best regards, ashley

Whoever can operate it, aligns the wall between 7 and 9 o’clock. Any maintenance service, or the husband?

...so rather demolish the entire wall ourselves? We can manage that, just thought that removing only a section might be enough?

Then borrow a suitable tool from the hardware store and cut through the wall at the desired location.

Cutting might create some dust. Breaking it apart is probably better.
