Almost all floor tiles can be lifted and removed easily with a screwdriver. None are broken.

There are narrow tile strips in the shower that are difficult to remove. I carefully removed the first strip using a screwdriver. Should I now use a hammer and chisel?

Thank you

Floor renovation: broken tile fragments, dust, and debris are on the floor near the wall.

Hello

If you manage not to damage the wall in the process, then yes. It looks critical because the joint toward the wall appears to be mortar and not silicone.

Thank you, the joint is actually partly made of grout. About half of it is just silicone. By now I have removed half of the tile strips. Done this carefully, it would probably cost a lot if done by a professional company, since the time required is considerable. I estimate it takes more than half an hour per strip. Patience is half the job.

I loosen the tile strips using a flathead screwdriver and a small hammer. It is important to repeatedly loosen the entire length of the tile strip. The fewer individual pieces there are, the easier the job. It’s similar to removing wallpaper.
