The floor in the attic bathroom will be renovated. For this, the toilet needs to be removed for several days.
What should be considered?
See image.

- How should the toilet drain opening and the pipe opening in the wall be sealed?
- Is a strong odor expected?
- The toilet must be moved to another room.
How heavy is it approximately?
Can one person manage this? Possibly with tools such as a wheeled transport board or a hand truck.

What else should be taken into account?

Thank you

White toilet with closed lid, visible pipe connections on the floor.

Turn off the water supply to the cistern. Unscrew the bolts from the floor. Carefully lift the toilet—there is still quite a bit of water inside.

Push in an old sock or T-shirt ;-)

If sealed properly, then no. Otherwise, it depends on what smells come up from below...

Then you’ll have to carry it...

About 20 kg (44 lbs)

The 43 kg (95 lbs) “lady boss” maybe not. The average person yes 😉
