Hello,

Yes, I know there are a thousand different quality standards, etc., but in the forum there is also a common estimate for price per square meter / price per square foot that is often mentioned for the finished house (around 2000€/m² (185 USD/ft²)).
So, quickly and straightforwardly, based on your experience, what rough estimate can one use for the interior finishing (floors, tiles, ceilings, walls)?

Thank you very much, and happy holidays to you all 🙂

As you put it, this is meant solely as a rough estimate. This is basically the final item in my house cost calculation.

For all other trades, we already have concrete quotes. I have used prices WITHOUT VAT for all trades anyway, to prepare for the worst-case scenario :p

Are you including an installation layer in your build?

For all trades, I took the prices WITHOUT electrical work into account for financing, assuming the worst-case scenario.

It’s always good to keep some buffer.

Yes, there will be an installation layer. Why?

The costs for this could be added to the interior construction budget – depending on who calculates what and how.
In my opinion, this also makes a lot of sense.

Well, that is included in the house price and does not concern me initially when I need the material costs for painting/flooring work.

Even when asking about a square meter of interior finishing, of course not in total.
