Dear forum community,
At the moment, I am using some cheap hygrometer/thermometers from an online marketplace to monitor the indoor climate in my house. While they are somewhat amusing, I’m quite sure they are not very accurate.
Which indoor climate station would you recommend? My budget is around 100 EUR (about 110 USD), and I would expect it to include data logging with app access.
It would be great if it runs on standard batteries, not special button cells or a built-in rechargeable battery. Expandability with sensors for different rooms would also be a plus.
I would appreciate user experiences, especially regarding battery life.
Thanks and best regards
Tolentino

Good question.
I have actually been wondering for some time whether it might be possible to repurpose the now obsolete ERR control panels—their space and power connection.
A flush-mounted hygrometer/thermometer in every room, with a power supply, that would be something! Unfortunately, I don’t have the slightest bit of automation in the house.

Regarding this topic, I have been considering the Netatmo products.
