Hi everyone,

I am looking for a digital room thermostat. In our new build, we have an air-to-water heat pump with underfloor heating and cooling function.

Preferably with current temperature display and a backlit screen. No extra features are necessary.

Just leave those things out; they don’t make any sense.

Yes, I can only agree with that. Get rid of the unnecessary stuff.

You install the cheapest ones because you have to, and then in the end you end up adjusting the actuator motors on the valves inside the distribution cabinet. Just like all air-to-water heat pump owners after seeing their first electricity bill.

Assuming the heating system is properly set up (flow temperature, etc.), can you not simply turn all the controllers up to the maximum? Wouldn't that be "simpler"?

The actuators and controllers will still consume power. However, this can also be avoided.
