Hello everyone,
In our future house, an air-to-water heat pump from Daikin (Altherma 3 R ECH2O 308/508 H/C (H) (Biv) 8kW) will be installed. We now want to replace the analog heating thermostats with digital ones. Since there are countless options available, I wanted to ask here if you could recommend any. They don’t need to be smart home compatible.

What exactly is supposed to be more digital about it than the usual controllers you can find everywhere?
After all, they are electric anyway, and the control itself is already digital (valve open, valve closed).
Or is the preference more for a "with display" option? Is it more about the appearance?

Primarily, I simply do not want to install the analog controllers, as I find them very inaccurate in our current apartment. Therefore, I would prefer a digital display to set the temperature more precisely here. It could have been the case that a special temperature controller needs to be installed for our Daikin air-to-water heat pump.
