In our current apartment, this gas boiler is in operation. Now we want to determine the gas consumption, but apparently not everything was properly documented. Therefore, my question to the experts here: Is there a way to read how much gas this boiler has consumed so far, that is, since its installation or even the supply temperature, possibly per year? The installation was in 2019. Gas boiler EcoCompact + Multimatic from Vaillant

In newer Multimatic systems, you can check the consumption under Menu → Information → Consumption. It shows data for the current month, the previous month, and since commissioning. The consumption is displayed in kWh. You would then need to convert this into gas consumption in m³ (cubic meters). Unfortunately, not all heat generators provide this information to the controller. It also depends on which Multimatic version you have. The gas meter is actually the most important, as billing is based on it and it is the most accurate. When converting heat output (kWh) back into gas consumption, any possible losses are not taken into account.

Ok, thanks. I’ll also check the exact type as soon as I get the chance. It’s a somewhat special situation here... well... our new build is supposed to finally start in the next few days. As long as we can at least get a rough estimate of the consumption here, that’s enough for us. It won’t be exact anyway, but we already knew that or could have guessed it 😀. So, as always, a bit of our own fault.
