Hello,
according to the contract with a general contractor, windows are to be installed on the ground floor of my new building, which are specified as follows: "fittings according to RC2N." Visually, I cannot see any difference between the ground floor and upper floor windows.
What should I look for to be able to identify a difference here?
Thank you in advance for your answers!

Hello,
there are clearly more of these mushroom-head locks installed. The frames are also fixed to the masonry with more screws.
The glass panes are the same; you won’t notice any difference there.
Are the windows already installed and you’re now looking for the differences? Or are you still selecting your options?

Best regards,

Andreas

The windows are already installed, and there are not significantly more mushroom-head locking points.

Then they probably installed the regular windows on the bottom or accidentally the RC2n ones at the top. Do you have any pictures of the fittings?

So, in our case, the windows on the ground floor (RC2N) have 3 fully protruding mushroom cams.
The otherwise identical windows on the upper floor have only one fully protruding mushroom cam and 2 sliding cams that don’t protrude (I’m not sure how to describe them).
The patio door is the same: 4 fully functional mushroom cams, while the top has only 2 real ones and 2 "fake" ones.

I can take pictures tomorrow and post them here. If you want, you can take a look at them.
