Does this look good?

223.5mm (8.8 inches) thick doors in rooms with a height of 263cm (8 feet 7.4 inches) – or are the doors visually too large for the room?

Hello Christian

We have a house with a single-pitch roof. The ceiling heights range from about 2.40 m (7 ft 10 in) to 3.40 m (11 ft 2 in). In the hallway area where the room doors are located, the height is between 2.40 m (7 ft 10 in) and 3.00 m (9 ft 10 in). Heights between 2.40 m (7 ft 10 in) and 3.00 m (9 ft 10 in) are acceptable. The height in between is perfect.

The range in between feels perfect.

Thanks for the feedback, so in your opinion it should look good...

Does anyone else have experience with this? :-)

How tall are you that you need doors like these? If you are under 2 meters (6 ft 7 in) tall, I would definitely go for 211 cm (83 inches).

We are quite average in height ...
it’s all about the appearance!
The living room is 44 m² (473 sq ft), the kitchen 14 m² (151 sq ft), the hallway 14 m² (151 sq ft) ... the house is 180 m² (1,938 sq ft).
Hence the question about ... Does it look like that ...

Why? Then there is no reason. It’s a small house with standard rooms, etc. Why have unnecessarily tall doors? What’s motivating you to do that?
